Dungeon Souls: Invitation, Recognition and Awards

Just like the other games, Dungeon Souls received recognitions and awards because of its unique features, characters, level of challenges and more. Here are some of the recent and latest recognitions, awards and entries:

  • Selected as one of the Best of Asian Indie Games in 2015 and it was recognized as the PC Game of the Year (2015) of Haogamers staff, Editorial based in China. They selected the game based on two reasons first its freaking awesome rogue-like, with special abilities and all the procedurally generated madness required to make that rogue-like magic work; Second is they keep on coming back.
  • Awarded last November 3 4, 2015 in Dubai World Game Expo (DWGE) as BEST GAME (2015) and represented by Ligaya Secoral and Dave Balatbat (OFWs based in Dubai) a good friend of April Poland the project manager and executive producer.
  • Awarded last 2015 by the Game Development Association of the Philippines (GDAP) as the Game of the Year (2015).
  • One of the entry to E-Sports and Game Summit (ESGS) in the Philippines and awarded as 3rd Place. The said summit was represented by Mike Reevo and his brother.
  • Invited Last November 2015 in the International Game Network (IGN) Convention 2015 in Abu Dhabi, UAE and was represented by Ligaya Secoral and another OFW based in Dubai.
  • Chosen as an entry to the Indie Prize Contest in Singapore this May 17 - 19, 2016 unfortunately there will be no representative from the team. This coming September 2016 the Game will be an entry for the Game Development World Championship in Finland. Its either Diogo, Igor or April will be the representative. Another upcoming entry of the team will be in San Francisco an Indie Cade. Every entry in some gaming competition will help the Lamina Studios and its team to introduce the game in the community. This, and every recognitions, awards and invitations the teams receives boosts the teams confidence to improve the game and paid off the teams collaborative efforts.
